The present invention relates to a rear shaft manufacturing method for a 4-wheel drive vehicle transfer apparatus, which comprises: a pipe material cutting step of cutting a pipe to a required length for forming a product; a forging step of cold forging the cut pipe material many times to form each portion; a cutting process step of cutting a hole and a groove which can not be formed in the forging step; a heat treating step of improving corrosion resistance and strength of a rear shaft which is cut and processed; and a grinding process step of precisely grinding a coupling portion with another component. Therefore, a rear shaft can be manufactured for a structure thereof to be elaborate and for mechanical properties to be excellent, thereby improving productivity and reducing a production cost.

    차량 4륜 트랜스퍼장치의 후륜축 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 파이프를 제품 성형에 필요한 길이로 절단하는 파이프 소재절단단계; 상기 절단된 파이프 소재를 복수회 냉간단조하여 각 부위를 성형하는 단조단계; 상기 단조단계에서 성형할 수 없는 구멍과 홈을 절삭하는 절삭가공단계; 상기 절삭가공된 후륜축의 내부식성 및 강도를 향상시키는 열처리단계; 다른 부품과의 결합부위를 정밀 연마하는 연삭가공단계;를 포함하는 기술 구성을 통하여 조직이 치밀하고 전체적으로 기계적 성질이 우수한 후륜축을 제조할 수 있게 되고, 생산성 향상과 원가절감 등을 도모할 수 있게 되는 것이다.
