The purpose of the present invention is to provide a biomimetic coating material, which prevents fish and shellfish, such as barnacles, microorganisms, and contaminants from settling in a ship outer wall, and a coating technology of a ship outer wall using the same. Therefore, the present invention provides the biomimetic coating material which prevents organisms, such as fish, shellfish, etc., from living on the outer wall of the ship by biomimetically coating the outer wall of the ship in order to reduce resistance when the ship sails, and the outer wall of the ship biomimetically coated thereby. A primary riblet structure is formed on the outer wall of the ship, and a secondary riblet structure is formed on the primary riblet structure, to form the outer wall of the ship as the riblet structure, such as a kind of a fractal.

    본 발명의 목적은 따개비와 같은 어패류 및 미생물 그리고 기타 오염물질이 선박 외벽에 정착하는 것을 방지할 수 있는 생체모방 코팅제와 이를 이용한 선박 외벽의 코팅기술을 제공하고자 하는 것이다. 상기 목적에 따라 본 발명은 선박의 외벽 면에 생체 모방 코팅을 실시하여 어패류 등의 생물체가 서식할 수 없도록 함으로써 항해 시 저항을 저감할 수 있게 하는 생체 모방 코팅제와 그에 따라 생체 모방 코팅된 선박 외벽을 제공한다. 즉, 본 발명은, 선박 외벽면에 1차적인 리블렛 구조를 형성하고, 상기 리블렛 구조 위에 2차 리블렛 구조를 형성하여 일종의 프랙탈 도형과 같은 리블렛 구조를 코팅으로 형성하였다.
