The present invention relates to a blind spot detection method, and a blind spot detection device. More specifically, the present invention comprises: a step of setting a first detection area to detect a vehicle accessing a rear blind spot of the vehicle by using a detection unit installed toward a rear side of the vehicle; a step of obtaining information related to a vehicle lane of the vehicle from a vehicle lane information obtaining unit mounted in the vehicle; a step of re-setting a second detection area to enable the detection unit to detect the vehicle accessing the changed vehicle lane using the vehicle lane information of the vehicle lane information obtaining unit when the vehicle changes the vehicle lane thereof; and a step of outputting an alarm signal to a vehicle driver when the vehicle is sensed in the second detection area.

    본 발명은 사각지대 감지방법 및 감지장치에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는, 자차의 후방을 향해 설치된 감지부에 의하여 자차의 후방 사각지대로 진입하는 차량을 검출하기 위해 제1 감지영역을 설정하는 단계; 상기 자차에 탑재된 차선정보획득부로부터 자차의 차선에 관한 정보를 획득하는 단계; 상기 차선정보획득부의 차선정보를 이용하여 상기 감지부가 자차의 차선변경 시, 변경차로로 진입하는 차량을 검출하기 위해 제2 감지영역을 재설정하는 단계; 및 상기 제2 감지영역에서 차량이 감지되는 경우 자차 운전자에게 경보신호를 출력하는 단계;를 포함하여 구성된다.
