The present invention relates to an environmentally-friendly foam-type buoy and a manufacturing method thereof. The environmentally-friendly foam-type buoy comprises: a buoyancy part which is made of an expanded polystyrene (EPS) material; and a main body part which is made of an expanded polypropylene (EPP) material and is formed on the circumference of the buoyancy part in a state that a waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle is inserted into an insertion hole of the buoyancy part to surround the buoyancy part. Therefore, the buoy improves durability as the main body part is formed to be firm even if the amount of EPP particles is less than the amount of EPP particles used for a conventional buoy, reduces costs as the amount of raw materials is reduced, and improves corrosion-resistance even if the buoy is exposed to the seawater for a long time as the contact surface area of water is reduced compared with the conventional buoy.
본 발명은 친환경 발포형 부표 및 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 내부에 발포폴리스틸렌(EPS) 재질의 부력부가 형성되고, 상기 부력부의 삽입홀에 폐 PT병이 삽입된 상태에서 부력부의 외주연에 발포폴리프로필렌(EPP) 재질의 본체부가 감싸도록 성형됨으로써, 종래의 부표에 사용되는 발포폴리프로필렌(EPP) 입자의 양보다 적게 사용하여도 본체부가 단단하게 형성되어 내구성이 향상되고, 원료가 적게 들어 단가가 절감되며, 종래의 부표보다 물의 접촉 표면적이 작아 해수에 장시간 노출시에도 부식되지 않는 내부식성이 증가되는 특징이 있다.
