The present invention provides an electric power storage system capable of suppressing the degradation of durability of a converter for performing voltage conversion between an electric power storage device and a driving motor, and reducing the number of components. The electric power storage system of the present invention comprises: the converter to perform the voltage conversion between the electric power storage device and the driving motor; a DC/DC converter to step down output voltage to an auxiliary device or/and an auxiliary device battery by being installed on a current path between the electric power storage device and the converter; a charger; a first relay installed in a first connection line of one side of positive and negative poles to connect the electric power storage device with the converter; and a second relay installed in a second connection line of the other side of the positive and negative poles to connect the electric power storage device with the converter. One end of the DC/DC converter is connected to the first connection line between the first relay and the converter and the other end thereof is connected to the second connection line between the electric power storage device and the second relay. The charger is installed on the current path capable of charging the electric power storage device with external power when the first relay is turned on and the second relay is turned off.

    본 발명인 축전 시스템은, 축전 장치와, 축전 장치와 주행용 모터 사이에서 전압 변환을 행하는 변환기와, 축전 장치와 변환기 사이의 전류 경로에 설치되고, 보조 기기 또는/및 보조 기기 배터리로의 출력 전압을 강압하는 DC/DC 컨버터와, 충전기와, 축전 장치를 변환기와 접속하는 정·부극의 일방의 제 1 접속 라인에 설치된 제 1 릴레이와, 축전 장치를 변환기와 접속하는 정·부극의 타방의 제 2 접속 라인에 설치된 제 2 릴레이를 갖는다. DC/DC 컨버터의 일단은, 제 1 릴레이와 변환기 사이의 제 1 접속 라인에 접속되어 있고, 타단은, 축전 장치와 제 2 릴레이 사이의 제 2 접속 라인에 접속되어 있고, 충전기는, 제 1 릴레이가 온 상태이고 또한 제 2 릴레이가 오프 상태에서 축전 장치에 외부 전력을 충전 가능한 전류 경로 상에 설치되어 있다.
