A method for estimating the running distance of a vehicle in a mobile terminal comprises: a step of receiving vehicle data from an on-board diagnosis (OBD) terminal connected with the mobile terminal; a step of calculating the running state information of the vehicle on the basis of the received vehicle data; a step of allowing the mobile terminal to receive the accumulated running information with respect to a non-connected running section from the OBD terminal in the case that the mobile terminal released from the OBD terminal is re-connected with the OBD terminal; and a step of estimating the running distance of the non-connected running section on the basis of the received accumulated running information and the running state information calculated before the non-connected running section.

    모바일 단말에서 차량의 주행 거리를 예측하는 방법은 모바일 단말과 연동된 OBD 단말로부터 차량 데이터를 수신하는 단계, 수신한 차량 데이터에 기초하여 차량의 주행 상태 정보를 산출하는 단계, 모바일 단말과 OBD 단말의 연동이 해제된 이후에 재연동된 경우, 모바일 단말은 OBD 단말로부터 미연동 주행 구간에 대한 누적 주행 정보를 수신하는 단계 및 수신한 누적 주행 정보 및 미연동 주행 구간 이전에 산출된 주행 상태 정보에 기초하여 미연동 주행 구간의 주행 거리를 예측하는 단계를 포함한다.
