The present invention relates to a system and a method for reducing fatigue of a driver. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system for reducing fatigue of a driver comprises a camera, a wearable device, a telematics terminal, a control target device, and a telematics server. The camera is arranged on a set position of the interior of a vehicle and photographs the driver to generate image information. The wearable device is attached to the body of a driver to generate bio-information on the driver. The telematics terminal calculates an initial fatigue index regarding the driver using the image information and the bio-information and transmits the initial fatigue index to the outside. The control target device performs multiple fatigue reduction functions according to a control signal of the telematics terminal. The telematics server receives the initial fatigue index, calculates a final fatigue index corresponding to each fatigue reduction function by applying a weighted value collection corresponding to each fatigue reduction function to the initial fatigue index, and transmits the final fatigue index to the telematics terminal. According to the present invention, functions to reduce fatigue of a driver using posture information and bio-information on the driver are provided.

    본 발명은 운전자 피로도 저감 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 운전자 피로도 저감 시스템은 차량 내부의 설정된 위치에 배치되고, 운전자를 촬영하여 영상 정보를 생성하는 카메라; 운전자의 몸에 부착되고, 운전자의 생체 정보를 생성하는 웨어러블 장치; 상기 영상 정보와 생체 정보를 이용하여 운전자의 초기 피로 지수를 산출하고, 상기 초기 피로 지수를 외부로 전송하는 텔레매틱스 단말; 상기 텔레매틱스 단말의 제어신호에 따라 복수의 피로 저감 기능을 실행하는 제어 대상 장치; 및 상기 초기 피로 지수를 수신하고, 각각의 피로 저감 기능에 대응하는 가중치 집합을 상기 초기 피로 지수에 적용하여 각각의 피로 저감 기능에 대응하는 최종 피로 지수를 산출하고, 상기 최종 피로 지수를 상기 텔레매틱스 단말로 전송하는 텔레매틱스 서버;를 포함할 수 있다.
