According to the present invention, disclosed is a pedestrian protection airbag. The pedestrian protection airbag according to the present invention comprises: an inflator generating gas in a vehicle collision; a cowl protection unit which is deployed by receiving gas from the inflator, so as to protect a cowl; and a front pillar protection unit which is extended upward from the cowl protection unit and is deployed by gas that is generated from the inflator and transmitted via the cowl protection unit, so as to protect a front pillar. One or more rows of inactive zones which separate the gas received from the cowl protection unit in the left and right directions and form an internal space of the front pillar protection unit into a plurality of parts are vertically provided in the front pillar protection unit. The pedestrian protection airbag can form a protrusion height capable of protecting the front pillar even if a small amount of gas is received as the front pillar protection unit is divided into a plurality of parts by the inactive zones.

    보행자 보호 에어백에 관한 발명이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 보행자 보호 에어백은: 차량 충돌시 가스를 발생시키는 인플레이터; 인플레이터로부터 가스를 공급받아 전개되어 카울을 보호하는 카울 보호부; 및 카울 보호부로부터 상측으로 연장되고, 인플레이터로부터 발생되고 카울 보호부를 지나 전달되는 가스에 의하여 전개되어 프런트필러를 보호하는 프런트필러 보호부;를 포함하고, 프런트필러 보호부에는 카울 보호부에서 전달받은 가스를 좌우방향으로 분리시키고, 프런트필러 보호부의 내부 공간을 복수 개로 형성하는 인액티브존이 상하 방향으로 적어도 한 줄 이상 구비되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
