The present invention relates to a method and a device for recovering waste heat of a vessel engine and, more specifically, to a method and a device for recovering waste heat of a vessel engine, wherein the device for recovering waste heat of a vessel engine includes: an economizer supplying overheated steam to a steam turbine generator by heat-exchanging water supplied from a waste supply tank and the waste heat in exhaust gas generated in the engine; and a second overheated steam supply line including an auxiliary boiler changing saturated steam, which is generated by using water supplied from the water supply tank, into the overheated steam and supplying the changed overheated steam to the steam turbine generator. According to the present invention, the device for recovering waste heat of a vessel engine can prevent a wing of the steam turbine generator from being damaged due to condensed water generated when saturated steam is supplied, by supplying the steam generated by an auxiliary boiler when a vessel is anchored and drives in a low load to the steam turbine generator in order to generate power and by converting the saturated steam generated by the auxiliary boiler to the overheated steam and supplying the converted overheated steam. Also, the device for recovering waste heat of a vessel engine can reduce installation costs thereof and has simplified composition since the auxiliary boiler substitutes an auxiliary generator engine to generate the power by assisting a main engine of an existing vessel.

    본 발명은 선박용 엔진의 폐열회수장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는, 상기 엔진에서 발생한 배기가스 중의 폐열과 급수탱크로부터 공급된 물을 열교환시켜 생성된 과열스팀을 증기터빈 발전기에 공급하는 이코노마이저 및 급수탱크로부터 공급된 물을 이용하여 생성된 포화스팀(saturated steam)을 과열스팀으로 전환하여 증기터빈 발전기에 공급하는 보조 보일러를 포함하는 제2 과열스팀 공급라인을 포함하는, 선박용 엔진의 폐열회수장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 선박의 저부한 운전 또는 정박시에 보조 보일러에 의해 생성된 스팀을 증기터빈 발전기에 공급하여 전력을 생산하되, 보조 보일러에 의해 생성된 포화스팀을 과열스팀으로 전환시켜 공급함으로써 포화스팀을 공급할 때 발생할 수 있는 응축수에 의한 증기터빈 발전기의 날개의 파손을 방지할 수 있다. 또한, 종래 선박의 메인 엔진을 보조하여 전력을 생산하던 보조 발전기 엔진을 보조 보일러가 대체할 수 있어, 폐열회수장치의 구성을 간소화하고, 폐열회수장치의 설치 비용을 절감할 수 있다.
