Disclosed are a welding structure capable of diverting the progress of brittle cracks and a ship using the same. The welding structure capable of diverting the progress of brittle cracks according to the present invention is described as follows. An avoidance member for preventing a vertical welding line of a hatch coaming, which is a first steel plate, and a vertical welding line of an upper deck, which is a second steel plate, from forming a straight line, is welded to a part where the vertical welding line of the hatch coaming and the vertical welding line of the upper deck meet each other through the abutting joint of the hatch coaming and the upper deck. Therefore, the present invention reduces time and labor force required for welding the avoidance member to the hatch coaming and the upper deck, thereby reducing production costs.

    취성 파단의 진행을 우회시킬 수 있는 용접 구조체 및 이를 적용한 선박이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 취성 파단의 진행을 우회시킬 수 있는 용접 구조체 및 이를 적용한 선박은, 제1강판인 해치코밍의 세로방향 용접라인과 제2강판인 상부갑판의 세로방향 용접라인이 만나는 부위에 해치코밍의 세로방향 용접라인과 상부갑판의 세로방향 용접라인이 일직선을 이루지 않도록 회피시키는 회피부재를 해치코밍 및 상부갑판에 허리맞춤(Abutting Joint)시켜 용접한다. 그러면, 해치코밍 및 상부갑판에 회피부재를 용접으로 접합하기 위한 공수가 감소되므로, 원가가 절감되는 효과가 있을 수 있다.
