According to the present invention, a device for correcting resolver offset of an electric vehicle and a method thereof relate to a technology for diagnosing and correcting a resolver while a vehicle is stopped. The method comprises the following steps of: determining resolver offset diagnosis and initial correction conditions of an electric vehicle; limiting motion of the vehicle; separating a mechanical power transfer route of an electric motor; and performing resolver offset diagnosis and correction in accordance with a rotation number and a wheel speed of the motor per second. The device for correcting resolver offset of an electric vehicle comprises: the electric motor for generating mechanical power; a power transfer unit which separates the mechanical power from a wheel of the vehicle; a resolver for measuring a driving speed of the electric motor and an angle of a rotor; and a control unit which performs resolver offset diagnosis and correction.

    본 발명 전기자동차의 레졸버 옵셋 보정방법은, 자동차의 정지 상태에서 레졸버의 옵셋 진단 및 보정을 수행하기 위한 기술로서, 전기자동차의 레졸버 옵셋 진단 및 보정 초기 조건을 판단하고, 자동차의 움직임을 제한하며, 전기 모터의 기계적 동력전달 경로 분리를 하고, 모터의 분당 회전수와 휠속도에 따라 레졸버 옵셋 진단 및 보정을 수행하는 단계를 포함하는 전기자동차의 레졸버 옵셋 보정방법을 제공하고 있으며, 기계적 동력을 발생시키기 위한 전기 모터, 기계적 동력을 자동차의 휠과 분리하는 동력 전달부를 포함하고, 상기 전기 모터의 구동 속도와 회전자의 각도를 측정하기 위한 레졸버 및 레졸버 옵셋 진단 및 보정을 수행하는 제어부를 포함하는 전기자동차의 레졸버 옵셋 보정장치를 제공하고 있다.
