Provided is a propulsion apparatus for a ship. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the propulsion apparatus for a ship comprises: an intermediate shaft rotated by receiving a rotation force from a drive source; a propeller shaft axially connected to the intermediate shaft as a medium of fixing coupling on the same line to be rotated along with the fixing coupling; a rear propeller fixated to the propeller shaft; an inverse rotation device mounted in an installation space in a tail of a hull in a state in which an inverse gear unit connected to a front propeller rotationally supported by a propeller shaft in the front of the rear propeller is embedded; and a power connection device connecting a gap between the fixing coupling and the inverse rotation device to transmit a rotation force of the fixing coupling to the inverse rotation device, which is cardan joint method wherein the propeller shaft is penetrated.
선박용 추진장치를 개시한다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 선박용 추진장치는 구동원으로부터 회전력을 전달받아 회전하는 중간축과, 고정 커플링을 매개로 중간축과 동일선상에 축 연결되어 고정 커플링과 함께 회전하는 프로펠러축과, 프로펠러축에 고정되는 후방프로펠러와, 후방프로펠러 전방의 프로펠러축에 회전 가능하게 지지된 전방프로펠러와 연결되는 반전기어유닛을 내장한 상태로 선체 후미의 설치공간에 장착된 반전회전장치와, 고정 커플링과 반전회전장치 사이를 연결하여 고정 커플링의 회전력을 반전회전장치에 전달하며 프로펠러축이 관통하는 카르단 조인트(cardan joint)방식의 동력연결장치를 포함한다.
