The present invention relates to a method for building a ship exceeding the length of a pontoon deck of a floating dock, capable of building a ship even through a bow part protrudes out of the range of the pontoon deck by securing the welding space of the bow part in the pontoon deck by moving a ship body welded with a stern in a stern direction on the pontoon deck. The method for building a ship exceeding the length of the pontoon deck of the floating dock according to one desirable embodiment of the present invention launches the completed ship by welding the bow part on the ship body welded with the stern on the pontoon deck of the floating dock. The method for building a ship exceeding the length of the pontoon deck of the floating dock includes a first step of locating the completely welded stern of the ship body on one end of the pontoon deck of the floating dock to be matched, a second step of securing the welding space of the bow part of the ship by protruding the ship body with the stern matched on one end of the pontoon deck in a stern direction, a third step of welding a large block with the ship body by receiving the assembled large block in the secured space of the pontoon deck by the second step, a fourth step of forming the bow part of the ship body by performing a welding operating after a small block is mounted on the large block welded with the ship body by the third step, and a fifth step of sinking the pontoon deck by injecting water into the floating dock to launch the completed ship body by the fourth step.

    본 발명은 폰툰데크에서 선미부가 용접된 선체를 선미 방향으로 이동시켜 폰툰데크에 선수부가 용접될 공간을 확보시킴으로써, 선수부가 폰툰데크의 범위 밖으로 돌출되어도 선체를 건조할 수 있는 플로팅 도크의 폰툰데크 길이를 초과하는 선박의 건조공법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따른 플로팅 도크의 폰툰데크 길이를 초과하는 선박의 건조공법은 플로팅 도크의 폰툰데크에서 선미부가 용접된 선체에 선수부를 용접하여 완성된 선체를 진수시키는 선박의 건조공법에 있어서, 상기 플로팅 도크의 폰툰데크 일단부에 용접이 완료된 선체의 선미부가 일치하도록 위치시키는 제1 단계와, 상기 제1 단계에 의해 상기 폰툰데크의 일단부에 선미부가 일치한 선체를 선미 방향으로 돌출시켜 선체의 선수부가 용접될 공간을 확보하는 제2 단계와,상기 제2 단계에 의해 상기 폰툰데크의 확보된 공간에 조립된 대형블록을 안착시켜 선체와 대형블록을 용접하는 제3 단계와, 제3 단계에 의해 상기 선체와 용접된 대형블록에 소형블록을 탑재시킨 후에 용접작업을 진행하여 선체의 선수부를 형성시키는 제4 단계와, 상기 제4 단계에 의해 완성된 선체가 진수될 수 있도록 상기 플로팅 도크 내부에 물을 주입하여 상기 폰툰데크를 가라앉히는 제5 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
