According to the present invention, disclosed is a power transmission system for a rear axle of a vehicle, including a drive shaft for taking power from a driving source to be rotated, wherein a first pinion gear is joined to an end of the drive shaft; a first ring gear of which one end is engaged with the first pinion gear and which is coaxially joined to a first axle to transmit rotatory power to the first axle; a second pinion gear engaged with the other end of the first ring gear; and a second axle provided in the rear side of the first axle to take the rotatory power from the second pinion gear through a gear engagement structure to be rotated.
