The present invention relates to a length variable ship and, more specifically, to a length variable ship capable of flexibly responding to market conditions by increasing or reducing the number of an extension block modularized to have an independent cargo hold depending on a market demand, selecting a shipping size of an optimal cargo depending on market conditions, obtaining a stable rate of return in ship operation, and thereby improving operation efficiency by minimizing the loading and unloading time if necessary. According to the present invention, the length variable ship comprise: a bow block modularized to form an independent bow part; a stern block modularized to form an independent stern part; an extension block connected as a single or multiple between the bow block and the stern block, and modularized to have an independent cargo hold; and a combination part to combine multiple blocks including the bow block, the stern block, and the extension block.
