The present invention relates to a system to automatically navigate the North Pole Route and a method to automatically navigate the North Pole Route by using the same and, more specifically, to a system to automatically navigate the North Pole Route and a method to automatically navigate the North Pole Route by using the same, capable of automatically selecting an optimal route by predicting a future change of the thickness and extent of sea ice in the Arctic Ocean. The present invention is able to provide the system to automatically navigate the North Pole Route, capable of setting an optimal route by determining a navigable area by using a type of a vessel, sailing in the Arctic Ocean, and the concentration or thickness of sea ice in the Arctic Ocean. The system includes a navigation condition setting part setting departure and destination points of a vessel.

    본 발명은 북극항로 자동 안내 시스템 및 이를 이용한 북극항로 자동 안내 방법에 대한 것으로서, 특히, 미래의 북극해 지역의 해빙면적 및 두께 변화를 예측하여 최적 항로를 자동으로 선정하는 자동 안내 시스템 및 이를 이용한 북극항로 자동 안내 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 북극해의 해빙 두께 또는 해빙농도와 해당 북극해를 운항하는 선박의 종류를 이용하여 항해가능지역을 판단함으로써 최적항로를 설정할 수 있는 북극항로 자동 안내 시스템을 제공할 수 있다.
