The present invention relates to a technology for controlling a converter output voltage. To be more specific, this invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling a variable voltage for a vehicle, which estimates a command voltage of LDC (Low DC-DC Converter) in a section ahead through information transmitted from a driver assistance system and change an output voltage of LDC depending on the estimated command voltage in advance or afterwards to reduce the amount of power consumed at an output terminal of LDC and thus improve fuel efficiency.
본 발명은 컨버터 출력 전압 가변 제어 기술에 관한 것으로서, 더 상세하게는 운전자 보조 시스템에서 수신한 정보를 통하여 전방구간의 직류 변환기(LDC: Low DC-DC Converter) 지령전압을 예측하고, 예측한 지령전압 지령에 따라 직류 변환기 출력전압을 미리 변경하거나 또는 지연 변경하여 직류 변환기 출력단에서 소모되는 파워를 감소시켜 차량의 연비를 향상하는 차량의 가변 제어 장치 및 방법에 대한 것이다.
