The present invention relates to a control method for a device for determining a pedestrian collision position of a vehicle, which comprises: a first step of initializing an optical instrument; a second step of measuring power data in a period of predetermined time by the optical instrument when the optical instrument is initialized; a third step of determining whether a pressure value measured in plurality of pressure sensor modules is more than a reference value when the power data is measured by the optical instrument; a fourth step of transmitting the power data to a control unit in case the pressure value is more than the reference value; and a fifth step of carrying out an air bag pre-deployment algorithm by calculating an average value of the power data transmitted to the control unit.

    본 발명은 광계측기를 초기화하는 제1단계와 광계측기가 초기화되면, 광계측기는 소정시간을 주기로 전력데이터를 측정하는 제2단계와 광계측기가 전력데이터를 측정하면, 복수의 압력센서모듈에서 측정되는 압력값이 기준값 이상인지 여부를 판단하는 제3단계와 압력값이 기준값 이상일 경우, 전력데이터를 제어부로 전송하는 제4단계와 제어부로 전송된 전력데이터의 평균값을 산출하여 에어백 선전개 알고리즘을 실행하는 제5단계로 형성된 차량의 보행자 충돌 위치 판별장치의 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
