극지환경용 동적위치유지 모형시험 시스템이 개시된다. 극지환경용 동적위치유지 모형시험 시스템은, 극지 해역 및 극지 해역의 결빙된 얼음을 재현한 빙해수조, 빙해수조 내에서 자유항주하는 모형선박, 모형선박에 연결되어 모형선박을 예인하는 예인전차, 예인전차에 모형선박을 지향하도록 설치되어 모형선박의 움직임을 실시간으로 촬영하는 비전 카메라, 모형선박에 장착되어, 모형선박이 빙해수조 내에서 자유항주하기 위한 추력을 발생하는 추진기, 비전 카메라를 통해 획득된 모형선박의 움직임 영상을 이용하여 모형선박의 6자유도 운동을 계측하는 계측기 및 6자유도 운동의 계측에 따라 산출된 모형선박의 운동 데이터를 이용하여, 모형선박이 미리 설정된 위치를 유지하기 위하여 필요한 힘을 산출하고, 산출한 힘에 따른 추진기의 추력을 산출하여 추진기의 추력을 제어하는 제어기를 포함한다.

    Disclosed is a dynamic positioning maintenance model test system for a polar environment, which is capable of performing a model vessel test for evaluating the dynamic positioning performance of a polar vessel in polar environment conditions. The dynamic positioning maintenance model test system for a polar environment comprises: an icy water tank which reproduces conditions of the polar sea and the frozen ice in the polar sea; a model vessel which sails freely in the icy water tank; a tow carriage which is connected to the model vessel and is provided to tow the model vessel; a vision camera which is installed on the tow carriage to point the model vessel and is provided to capture the movement of the model vessel in real-time; a thruster which is mounted on the model vessel and is provided to generate thrust for the model vessel to navigate freely in the icy water tank; a measuring instrument which measures a 6 degrees-of-freedom motion of the model vessel using a motion image of the model vessel, acquired through the vision camera; and a controller which calculates force required for the model vessel to be maintained in a preset position using motion data from the model vessel, calculated according to the measurement of the 6 degrees-of-freedom motion, and calculates the thrust of the thruster according to the calculated force so as to control the thrust of the thruster.
