차량 내부의 물질 투과 디스플레이 및 조명 시스템이 개시된다. 시스템은 차량 내부의 표면을 형성하기 위한 패브릭과 같은 가요성 물질과, 상기 가요성 물질로 가려진 광원을 포함하며, 광원으로부터의 광 방출은 가요성 물질을 투과하여 눈에 보여 차량의 운전자 및 승객에게 정보 및 주변 조명을 제공할 수 있다.

    A through-material display and illumination system for the interior of a vehicle is disclosed. The system comprises a flexible material such as a fabric for forming a surface of the interior of the vehicle, and a light source concealed by the flexible material; light emissions from the light source are transmitted and visible through the flexible material, providing information and ambient illumination to the driver and passengers of the vehicle.
