The present invention relates to a safety scaffolding protection system and method of protecting safety scaffolding on a railway platform that sense the movement of a vehicle and forcibly lowers (or folds) the scaffolding. According to the present invention, the safety scaffolding protection system comprises: a detection module which detects the movement of a railway vehicle; a learning module which learns detection information from the detection module; and a control module which forcibly lowers the safety scaffolding when it is determined that the vehicle is moving according to the information learned by the learning module. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent not only damage to the safety scaffolding but also damage to the vehicle.

    차량의 움직임을 감지하여 강제로 발판을 하강(또는 접힘) 시키는 철도용 승강장의 안전 발판 보호 시스템 및 안전 발판 보호 방법에 관한 것으로, 철도 차량의 움직임을 감지하는 감지 모듈, 상기 감지 모듈에 의한 감지 정보를 학습하는 학습 모듈, 상기 학습 모듈에 의해 학습된 정보에 따라 차량의 이동으로 판단되면, 상기 안전 발판을 강제로 하강시키는 제어 모듈을 포함하는 구성을 마련하여, 안전 발판의 파손뿐만 아니라 차량 파손도 방지할 수 있다.
