The purpose of the present invention is to provide an optical laminate whose transmittance is variable, of which thickness is significantly reduced. The present invention provides an optical laminate whose transmittance is variable, a method for manufacturing the same, and a smart window including the same. The optical laminate comprises: a first polarizer including a first functional layer; a first transparent conductive layer formed on one surface of the first polarizer; a second polarizer including a second functional layer and facing the first polarizer; a second transparent conductive layer formed on one surface of the second polarizer and facing the first transparent conductive layer; and a liquid crystal layer provided between the first transparent conductive layer and the second transparent conductive layer, wherein at least one of the first transparent conductive layer and the second transparent conductive layer is formed in direct contact with either of the first and second polarizers, and both the first and the second functional layers have a pencil hardness of 3B to 6H on the surfaces thereof.
