The present invention relates to a centering apparatus, which is used when finding a location where an airfield lighting can is buried and boring a hole at the location in order to install lighting in the airfield lighting can buried beneath a runway, and a method for boring a core using the centering apparatus. The present invention provides a centering apparatus for an airfield lighting system and a boring method using the centering apparatus, which realizes a new type of boring method of setting the location of the can buried beneath the runway by GPS, boring a first check hole to adjust the center of the core using a centering device, and boring a second check hole to form the at the central location of the can accurately with a single operation, thereby reducing the construction period of time, ensuring the quality of core formation, and enhancing work efficiency.

    본 발명은 활주로 밑에 매립해놓은 항공등화용 캔에 조명을 설치하기 위해 항공등화용 캔이 매립되어 있는 위치를 찾아서 코어를 뚫을 때 사용하는 센터링장치와 이러한 센터링장치를 이용하여 코어를 천공하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 활주로에 매립되어 있는 캔의 위치를 GPS로 설정한 후에 1차 확인 구멍을 뚫어서 센터링장치로 코어 중심을 맞춘 다음, 2차 본 구멍을 뚫는 새로운 형태의 천공방식을 구현함으로써, 1회 작업만으로 캔의 중심 위치에 정확하게 코어를 형성할 수 있는 등 공사기간 단축은 물론 코어의 형성 품질을 확보할 수 있고, 작업의 효율성을 높일 수 있는 항공등화시스템의 센터링장치 및 천공방법을 제공한다.
