Disclosed are a method and a device for controlling a lift axle of a vehicle. According to the present invention, the method for controlling a lift axle measures displacement (Δy) of which a vehicle axle is bent when a driving axle and a lift axle of a vehicle is minutely bent by receiving force in a gravity direction, thereby calculating support load of the driving axle and the support load of the lift axle and controlling the lift axle to share loading load by lowering the lift axle when the loading load adding up the support load of the driving axle and the lift axle is at least a preset threshold value. Therefore, the present invention removes a problem that the lift axle is lifted again due to the reduced support load of the driving axle by lowering the lift axle.
차량의 가변축 제어방법 및 그 제어장치가 개시된다. 본 발명에 의한 가변축 제어방법은 차량의 구동축과 가변축이 중력방향의 힘을 받아 미세하게 휠 때 차축이 휘는 변위(Δy)를 측정함으로써 구동축 지지하중과 가변축 지지하중을 계산하며, 이를 합산한 적재하중이 기설정된 임계값 이상이 되면, 가변축을 내려 가변축이 적재하중을 분담하도록 제어한다. 이로써, 가변축을 내림에 따라 구동축 지지하중이 줄어서 가변축이 다시 들어올려지는 문제가 발생하지 않는다.
