게시된 발명의 일 측면은 간단한 저항소자를 이용하여 전자제어장치의 접지부의 단락 상태를 확인하여 전자제어장치의 오작동을 방지 할 수 있는 전자제어장치 및 전자제어장치 제어방법을 제공한다. 일 실시예에 따른 전자제어장치는, 전원과 연결되어 전자제어장치(ECU)에 제1전류를 공급하는 제1전류 단자와 연결된 제1접지부; 상기 전원과 연결되어 상기 전자제어장치에 제2전류를 공급하는 제2전류 단자와 연결된 제2접지부; 상기 제1접지부와 상기 제2접지부를 연결하는 단락저항; 및 상기 단락저항에 흐르는 진단 전류의 크기에 기초하여 상기 제1접지부 및 상기 제2접지부 중 적어도 하나의 단락 여부를 판단하는 제어부;를 포함한다.

    According to one aspect of the present invention, provided are an electronic control unit and a method of controlling the electronic control unit, which can prevent malfunction of the electronic control unit by checking a short-circuit state of a ground portion of the electronic control unit using a simple resistance element. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the electronic control unit comprises: a first grounding portion connected to a power source and connected to a first current terminal for supplying a first current to the electronic control unit; a second grounding unit connected to the power source and connected to a second current terminal for supplying a second current to the electronic control unit; a short-circuit resistor connecting the first grounding portion and the second grounding portion; and a control unit for determining whether at least one of the first grounding unit and the second grounding unit is short-circuited based on the magnitude of a diagnostic current flowing through the short-circuit resistor.
