본 발명은 슈라우드 하우징의 상단에 장착되는 블라인드 축, 상기 슈라우드 하우징의 양 측부에 결합되는 가이드, 상기 블라인드 축이 회전함에 따라 상하로 이동되어 슈라우드의 전면을 개방 또는 폐쇄하는 블라인드, 상기 블라인드 축을 회전시키는 서보모터 및 상기 서보모터에 전력을 공급하는 축전기를 포함하는 쿨링팬의 항력 저감 장치로서, 본 발명에 의하면, 간단한 구조에 의해 종래의 AAF 기능을 대신하여 공기 저항을 최소화하며, 작동을 위한 전력을 자가발전에 의해 충당이 가능게 한다.
The present invention relates to a drag reduction apparatus for a cooling fan, which comprises: a blind shaft mounted on an upper end of a shroud housing; a guide coupled to both sides of the shroud housing; a blind moving up and down as the blind shaft rotates to open or close a front surface of a shroud; a servo motor rotating the blind shaft; and a capacitor supplying electric power to the servo motor. According to the present invention, air resistance is minimized instead of a conventional AAF function by a simple structure, and electric power for operation can be supplied by self-power generation.
