According to the present invention, a method for estimating the maximum friction coefficient value in a transverse direction of a vehicle comprises: a step (a) of calculating a reference yaw rate; a step (b) of computing a yaw rate error of a vehicle; a step (c) of deriving a factor of a transverse model error by integrating the yaw rate errors; and a step (d) of aggregating the factor of the transverse model error to current acceleration of the vehicle to estimate the maximum friction coefficient value in the transverse direction of the vehicle.
본 발명에 따른 차량의 횡방향 최대마찰계수 추정방법은, 기준 요레이트를 산정하는 (a)단계, 차량의 요레이트 오차를 산출하는 (b)단계, 상기 요레이트 오차에 대한 적분을 수행하여 횡방향 모델 오차 인자를 도출하는 (c)단계 및 차량의 현재 가속도에 상기 횡방향 모델 오차 인자를 합산하여 차량의 횡방향 최대마찰계수를 추정하는 (d)단계를 포함한다.
