The present invention relates to a method and a system for observing a bidirectional reflectance distribution function using a drone. A method for observing a bidirectional reflectance distribution function using a drone according to an embodiment of the present invention is a computer implemented method for bidirectional reflectance distribution function observation executed on a computing device, and comprises: a first step of setting a flight path so that a drone equipped with a spectral sensor is flying on a spherical path to observe an object; a second step of determining a direction in which the spectral sensor is looking, and measuring a reflected radiation by the spectral sensor; and a third step of calculating a bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) by using the direction in which the spectral sensor is looking. Bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) can be measured for hard-to-reach objects.

    본 발명은 드론을 활용한 양방향반사율분포함수 관측 방법 및 시스템에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 드론을 활용한 양방향반사율분포함수 관측 방법은, 컴퓨팅 장치에서 실행되는 양방향반사율분포함수 관측에 관한 컴퓨터 구현 방법(Computer implemented method)으로서, 분광 센서(spectral sensor)가 장착된 드론이 구면상의 경로로 비행하여 대상을 관측하도록 비행 경로를 설정하는 제1 단계; 상기 분광 센서가 바라보는 방향을 결정하여 상기 분광 센서가 반사 복사량(radiance)을 측정하는 제2 단계; 및 상기 분광 센서가 바라보는 방향을 이용해 양방향반사율분포함수(BRDF: Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function)를 계산하는 제3 단계;를 포함한다.
