차세대 지능형 교통 시스템(C-ITS) 서비스가 지원되지 않는 일반 차량에서 실시간으로 C-ITS 서비스를 수행할 수 있도록 한 일반 차량의 차세대 지능형 교통정보 제공시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 관제 센터 서버에서 노변 기지국을 통해 취합한 교통 정보를 수집하여 국지적인 교통 상황 데이터를 생성하고, 생성한 국지적인 교통 상황 데이터를 노변 기지국에 전송하며, 노변 기지국에서 수신한 국지적인 교통 상황 데이터를 V2X 통신을 통해 주변 차량으로 전송하거나, 교통 방송 데이터(DMB)로 변환하여 송출하고, 일반 차량 단말에서 노변 기지국으로부터 전송된 국지적인 교통 방송 데이터를 DMB 모듈을 통해 수신한 후, 수신한 국지적인 교통 방송 데이터를 이용하여 내비게이션에 표출하거나 경로 생성에 이용한다.

    The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing next-generation intelligent traffic information for general vehicles that enable C-ITS service to be performed in real time in general vehicles that do not support the next-generation intelligent transportation system (C-ITS) service. The present invention collects traffic information collected from a control center server through the roadside base station to generate local traffic condition data. The method comprises: transmitting the generated local traffic condition data to the roadside base station; transmitting local traffic condition data received from roadside base stations to nearby vehicles through V2X communication; converting the same into traffic broadcasting data (DMB) and transmitting the same; and after receiving the local traffic broadcast data transmitted from the roadside base station from the general vehicle terminal through the DMB module, wherein received local traffic broadcast data is used to display it in navigation or to generate a route.
