The present invention is to provide an apparatus for controlling a solar panel for a vehicle, which controls the posture of a solar panel installed in a vehicle based on the location and heading direction of the vehicle collected from the vehicle in the server, so that the solar panel faces the sun. The apparatus for controlling a solar panel for a vehicle includes: a server which receives vehicle information from a vehicle posture control module to detect the altitude and azimuth of the sun based on the vehicle information, and detects the posture control information of a solar panel of the vehicle based on the altitude and azimuth of the sun; and a posture control module which is installed in the vehicle to detect vehicle information to transmit the same to the server, and controls the posture of the solar panel installed in the vehicle according to the posture control information received from the server.
