본 발명은 연료를 연소시키기 위한 실린더, 상기 실린더에 상하방향으로 이동 가능하게 설치되는 피스톤, 상기 실린더에 가스연료를 공급하기 위한 가스연료공급유닛, 상기 실린더에 액체연료를 공급하기 위한 액체연료공급유닛, 및 상기 가스연료공급유닛 및 상기 액체연료공급유닛을 제어하는 제어부를 포함하고, 상기 제어부는 과도 부하 증가 모드 시 상기 실린더에 공급하는 가스연료량을 유지시키고, 액체연료량을 증가시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 선박용 엔진 및 선박용 엔진 제어방법에 관한 것이다.

    The present invention relates to an engine for a ship. According to the present invention, the engine for a ship comprises: a cylinder for burning fuel; a piston reciprocating between bottom dead center and top dead center in the cylinder; a scavenging air supply unit for supplying air to the cylinder; and a gas supply unit for supplying gas fuel to the cylinder while the piston moves from the bottom dead center to the top dead center. The gas supply unit supplies gas fuel in a second direction opposite to the first direction, which is a swirl direction of the air supplied to the cylinder by the scavenging air supply unit.
