According to a rail breakage determination system and a rail breakage determination method using the same, the rail breakage determination system includes a measurement position setting unit, a vibration data measurement unit, and a determination unit. The measurement position setting unit sets a reference point and at least one measurement position located in front of the reference point. As a train approaches the reference point, the vibration data measurement unit measures vibration data at the reference point and the measurement position. The determination unit determines whether a rail is broken at the reference point based on the measured vibration data. In particular, the determination unit determines that the rail is broken when the measured vibration data is greater than or equal to a preset reference value, and a size of the data increases as the train approaches the reference point. Accordingly, the breakage of the rail is easily measured.

    레일절손 판단 시스템 및 이를 이용한 레일절손 판단방법에서, 상기 레일절손 판단 시스템은 측정위치 설정부, 진동데이터 측정부 및 판단부를 포함한다. 상기 측정위치 설정부는 기준지점, 및 기준지점으로부터 전방에 위치한 적어도 하나의 측정위치를 설정한다. 상기 진동데이터 측정부는 열차가 상기 기준지점으로 접근함에 따라, 상기 기준지점 및 상기 측정위치에서 진동데이터를 측정한다. 상기 판단부는 상기 측정된 진동데이터를 바탕으로 상기 기준지점에서의 레일의 절손 여부를 판단한다. 특히, 상기 판단부는, 상기 측정된 진동데이터가 기 설정된 기준값 이상이며, 상기 기준지점에 접근함에 따라 데이터의 크기가 증가하면 레일이 절손된 것으로 판단한다.
