According to the present invention, disclosed are a braking device using an electric booster and a control method thereof. The braking device using an electric booster of the present invention includes: an electric booster that is connected to a master cylinder, presses a push rod by pressing a reaction disk with the electric power of a motor together with the pedal force of a driver that presses a brake pedal, and presses a piston of the master cylinder through the push rod; and a control unit that compares required braking pressure by the pedal force of the driver and current braking pressure by motor control with set pressure to perform cooperative control by electronic stability control (ESC) and cooperative control by the electric booster.

    본 발명은 전동부스터를 이용한 제동장치 및 그 제어방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 전동부스터를 이용한 제동장치는, 마스터 실린더와 연결되어 브레이크 페달을 가압하는 운전자의 페달력과 함께 모터의 전동력으로 리액션 디스크를 가압하여 푸쉬로드를 가압하고, 푸쉬로드를 통해 마스터 실린더의 피스톤을 가압하는 전동부스터; 및 운전자의 페달력에 의한 요구 제동압과 모터 제어에 의한 현재 제동압을 설정압과 비교하여 ESC(Electronic Stability Control)에 의한 협조제어와 전동부스터에 의한 협조제어를 수행하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
