The present invention relates to a connector for an electric vehicle charger connected to an inlet part of an electric vehicle to charge a battery of the electric vehicle, and more specifically, to the connector for the electric vehicle charger, which blocks a charging signal to forcibly stop charging when overheating occurs at the connection part between an outlet part of the connector and the inlet part of the electric vehicle, thereby preventing accidents. The connector for an electric vehicle charger according to the present invention includes: a handle; the outlet part provided in front of the handle and including a charging terminal and a signal terminal connected to the inlet part of the electric vehicle; and a cable electrically connecting the connection part and a charger, wherein a bimetal, opening and closing according to temperature, is connected to a cable which is built in the handle and connected to the signal terminal.

    본 발명은 전기차의 배터리를 충전하기 위해서 전기차의 인렛부에 접속되는 전기차 충전기용 커넥터에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 커넥터의 아웃렛부와 전기차의 인렛부 사이의 접속부에서 과열이 발생되면 충전신호를 차단함으로써 강제로 충전을 중단시켜 사고를 예방하는 전기차 충전기용 커넥터에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 전기차 충전기용 커넥터는 핸들; 상기 핸들의 전방에 구비되며, 전기차의 인렛부에 접속되는 충전단자와 신호단자를 포함하는 아웃렛부; 상기 접속부와 충전기를 전기적으로 연결하는 케이블;을 포함하고, 상기 핸들에 내장되며, 상기 신호단자에 연결되는 케이블에는 온도에 따라 개폐되는 바이메탈이 연결되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
