According to an embodiment of the present invention, a smart drone for facility safety diagnosis comprises: a flight control unit measuring a distance to a facility using a distance sensor and controlling a position of the smart drone using the measured distance such that the drone can avoid a collision with an obstacle in a GPS dead zone; a three-dimensional modelling unit measuring a shape of the facility to acquire shape data using a LiDAR sensor and performing three-dimensional modelling for the structure of the facility using the shape data; and a safety diagnosis unit assessing a state of the facility using the result of the three-dimensional modelling (three-dimensional modelling data) in order to diagnose the safety of the facility. The present invention can perform safety diagnosis for those facilities with weak GPS communications.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 시설물 안전 진단용 스마트 드론은 거리 센서를 이용하여 시설물과의 거리를 측정하고, 상기 측정된 거리를 이용하여 상기 GPS 음영 지역의 장애물과 충돌 회피하도록 상기 스마트 드론의 위치를 제어하는 비행 제어부; 라이다 센서를 이용하여 상기 시설물의 형상을 측정하여 형상 데이터를 취득하고, 상기 형상 데이터를 이용하여 상기 시설물의 구조에 관한 3D 모델링을 실시하는 3D 모델링부; 및 상기 시설물에 대한 안전 진단을 위해 상기 3D 모델링의 결과(3D 모델링 데이터)를 이용하여 상기 시설물의 상태를 평가하는 안전 진단부를 포함한다.
