The present invention relates to a propulsion thruster for a ship, and more specifically, to a propulsion thruster for a ship, which designs a strut shape of a thruster which is an auxiliary thrust generating device equipped in a side surface for steering capacity improvement of the ship berthed and unberthed at a dock so as to have an asymmetry oval shape with respect to a propeller shaft, thereby reducing losses of thrust with respect to fluid flow generated when the propeller is driven and suppressing generation of vibration or noises by the fluid flow.

    본 발명은 선박용 추진 스러스터에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 부두에 접안 및 이안하는 선박의 조정 능력 향상을 위해 측면에 장비하는 보조 추력 발생 장치인 스러스터의 스트럿(strut) 형상을 프로펠러 축에 대하여 비대칭 타원이 되도록 설계함으로써, 프로펠러 구동 시 발생하는 유체 흐름에 대한 추진력 손실을 줄이고, 유체 흐름에 의한 진동이나 노이즈 발생을 억제할 수 있도록 하는 선박용 추진 스러스터에 관한 것이다.
