The present invention relates to an apparatus for diagnosing the failure of an air pressure sensor in a vehicle, including: the air pressure sensor for detecting the air pressure of an intake manifold in the vehicle; an engine rpm detecting unit detecting information on vehicle engine rpm; a throttle valve opening amount detecting unit detecting the throttle valve opening amount of the vehicle; and a control unit determining whether the air pressure sensor or the throttle valve has failed by using a predetermined pressure drop amount threshold of the air pressure sensor according to a throttle valve opening amount and engine rpm.

    본 발명은 차량 공기 압력 센서의 고장 진단 장치에 관한 것으로, 차량의 인테이크 매니폴더의 공기 압력을 검출하는 공기 압력 센서; 차량 엔진의 회전수 정보를 검출하는 엔진 회전수 검출부; 차량의 쓰로틀 밸브 열림량을 검출하는 쓰로틀 밸브 열림량 검출부; 및 쓰로틀 밸브 열림량과 엔진 회전수에 따라 미리 정해진 공기 압력 센서의 압력 하강량 임계값을 이용하여 상기 공기 압력 센서나 쓰로틀 밸브의 고장 여부를 판단하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
