The present invention relates to a power control system and a method for a mild hybrid vehicle, and more specifically, to a power control system for a mild hybrid vehicle including a converter for converting power of a high voltage power supply unit into a direct current to maintain a target voltage. The power control system can include: a system efficiency map for storing a system optimum efficiency value which is a product of the efficiency of the converter and the charging efficiency of a low voltage battery; and a hybrid control unit which sets the target voltage, extracts a system optimum efficiency value corresponding to the target voltage from the system efficiency map, and controls the current of the converter.

    본 발명은 마일드 하이브리드 자동차의 전원제어 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 고전압 전원부의 전원을 직류변환하여 저전압부가 목표전압을 유지할 수 있도록 하는 컨버터를 포함하는 마일드 하이브리드 자동차의 전원제어 시스템에 있어서, 컨버터의 효율과 저전압 배터리의 충전효율의 곱인 시스템 최적 효율값을 저장하는 시스템 효율 맵과, 상기 목표전압을 설정하고, 상기 시스템 효율 맵에서 목표전압에 부합하는 시스템 최적 효율값을 추출하여 상기 컨버터를 전류제어하는 하이브리드 제어유닛을 포함할 수 있다.
