The present invention relates to a boil-off gas storage type cryogenic fuel tank, which forms a container storing liquefied natural gas (LNG) in a double layer structure of a container main body and an outer wall, stores boil-off gas of the LNG in a space between the container main body and the outer wall, and omits or minimizes an insulation layer on a storage container, thereby being possible to reduce a manufacture cost and being possible to use the boil-off gas stored between the container main body and the outer wall as fuel of an LNG propulsion ship.

    본 발명은 액화천연가스(Liquefied Natural Gas; LNG)를 저장하는 용기를 용기본체와 외벽의 2중층 구조로 구성하고, 용기본체와 외벽 사이의 공간에 액화천연가스의 기화가스를 저장하여 저장용기에 단열재층을 생략하거나 최소화하여 제조 비용을 절감할 수 있고, 용기본체와 외벽 사이에 저장된 기화가스를 LNG 추진 선박의 연료로 사용할 수 있도록 한 기화가스 저장형 극저온 연료탱크에 관한 것이다.
