원하는 방음성을 발휘하면서, 높은 난연성을 발휘할 수 있는 섬유질 성형체로 이루어지는 자동차용 방음 커버를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 2종 이상의 섬유를 포함하는 섬유질 성형체로 이루어지는 자동차용 방음 커버로서, 상기 섬유질 성형체가, 유기 섬유 50~80질량%와, 난연제 내첨 섬유 10~40질량%와, 유기 바인더 5~20질량%를 포함하고, 상기 섬유질 성형체의 총질량에 대한 상기 난연제 내첨 섬유를 구성하는 난연제의 전체 질량의 비율이 0.01~1.8질량%이며, 상기 난연제가 용융 적하 조정제인 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 방음 커버이다.
