차량에 탑재되는 연료 전지 시스템은, 차량을 구동하는 모터에 전력을 공급하는 연료 전지와, 산소를 연료 전지에 공급하는 펌프와, 차량의 액셀러레이터 답입량을 검출하는 액셀러레이터 위치 검출부와, 액셀러레이터 답입량에 기초하여, 연료 전지의 발전 요구 전력 및 펌프의 구동 요구 전력을 산출함과 함께, 구동 요구 전력에 기초하여 펌프를 제어하는 제어부를 구비하고, 제어부는, 산출되는 발전 요구 전력이 증가할 때에, 발전 요구 전력의 증가 속도보다도 상기 구동 요구 전력의 증가 속도가 빨라지도록 구동 요구 전력을 산출한다.

    A fuel cell system mounted in a vehicle (10) includes a fuel cell (110) supplying electric power to a motor (136) driving the vehicle (10), a pump supplying oxygen to the fuel cell (110), an accelerator position detection unit (190) detecting an accelerator depression amount of the vehicle, and a control unit (180) calculating electric power required to be generated by the fuel cell (110) and electric power required for driving of the pump based on the accelerator depression amount and controlling the pump based on the electric power required for the driving, in which the control unit (180) calculates the electric power required for the driving such that a rate of increase in the electric power required for the driving exceeds a rate of increase in the electric power required to be generated when the calculated electric power required to be generated increases.
