본 발명은 철도차량에 구비되는 트랜스폰더 리더에서 선로 사이에 구비된 트랜스폰더 태그에 원격으로 전력을 공급하고, 트랜스폰더 태그로부터 수신한 텔레그램을 메인경로(main path)와 서브경로(diversity path)의 2개의 경로로 무결성 검증을 수행한 후, 무결성 검증을 통과한 유저 데이터, 태그감지정보, 또는 이들의 조합을 포함하는 태그 관련 정보를 차상관리시스템으로 전송하고, 차상관리시스템에서 이를 토대로 철도차량의 위치정보를 정밀하게 파악함으로써, 트랜스폰더 태그로부터 수신한 텔레그램의 오류 검출 정확도를 높일 수 있으며, 정밀한 위치정보 파악을 통해 유지보수 작업시간 및 작업효율을 개선함은 물론, 열차 운행의 안정성을 향상시킬 수 있는 철도 위치검지 시스템에서의 트랜스폰더 리더 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것이다.

    The present invention relates to a transponder reader in a railroad location detection system and a controlling method thereof, which remotely supply a power to a transponder tag provided between lines in a transponder reader provided in a railroad vehicle, perform integrity verification on a telegram received from the transponder tag by two paths of a main path and a diversity path, transmit user data and tag detection information or tag related information including a combination thereof which pass through the integrity verification to an onboard management system, and accurately identify location information of the railroad vehicle in the onboard management system based thereon, thereby increasing error detection accuracy of the telegram received from the transponder tag, improving maintenance working time and working efficiency through the accurate location information identification and improving safety of a train operation. The transponder reader in a railroad location detection system comprises: a transmission part; a modem part; and a control part.
