Disclosed is a traffic signal lamp apparatus capable of reducing the number of traffic signal lamps installed on a support pole by turning on or off an LED module using driving power of another SMPS when one SMPS is malfunctioned. According to an aspect of the present invention, the traffic signal lamp apparatus includes: a front cover (110) mounted in a signal lamp case (200) installed in a support pole (20) and formed at a center thereof with a light emitting hole (111) opened forward and rearward; a rear cover (120) mounted on a rear side of the front cover (110); an LED module (130), which is vertically disposed and includes a patterned PCB (131) and a plurality of LEDs (132) mounted on a front surface of the PCB (131), in which the LED module (130) is arranged between the front cover (110) and a rear cover (120) or inside the rear cover (120) to emit LED light through a light emitting hole (111) according to driving power applied thereto; a first SMPS (140) for supplying driving power to the LED module (130); and a second SMPS (150). The plurality of LEDs (132) include a first LED (132a) and a second LED (132b) which are mixed and distributed on the PCB (131). The first LEDs (132a) are connected to each other by a first circuit line (187), the second LEDs (132b) are connected to each other by a second circuit line (188). The first SMPS (140) applies driving power to the first circuit line (187) to turn on or off the first LED (132a) and the second SMPS (150) applies driving power to the second circuit line (188) to turn on or off the second LED (132b).
본 발명의 특징에 따르면, 지주(20)에 설치된 신호등케이스(200)에 장착되며 중앙에는 발광공(111)이 전후로 개구된 전면커버(110); 상기 전면커버(110)의 후방측에 장착되는 배면커버(120); 직립배치되고 회로라인이 패터닝된 PCB(131) 및 상기 PCB(131)의 전방면에 실장되는 다수의 LED(132)를 포함하며, 상기 전면커버(110)와 배면커버(120) 사이 또는 배면커버(120)의 내부에 배치되어 인가되는 구동전원에 따라 상기 발광공(111)을 통해 LED광을 발산하는 LED모듈(130); 및 상기 LED모듈(130)에 구동전원을 공급하는 제1SMPS(140); 및 제2SMPS(150);를 포함하되, 상기 다수의 LED(132)는 상기 PCB(131) 상에 혼합되어 분산배치된 제1LED(132a) 및 제2LED(132b)로 이루어지며, 각 제1LED(132a)는 상호 간에 제1회로라인(187)으로 회로연결되고 각 2LED(132)는 상호 간에 제2회로라인(188)으로 회로연결되며, 상기 제1SMPS(140)는 상기 제1회로라인(187)에 구동전원을 인가하여 각 제1LED(132a)를 점등시키고, 상기 제2SMPS(150)는 상기 제2회로라인(188)에 구동전원을 인가하여 각 제2LED(132b)를 점등시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 교통신호등 장치가 제공된다.
