The present invention relates to an eco-friendly LED road traffic sign board, and more specifically, to a road traffic sign board turning on LEDs by using eco-friendly energy, which uses a thermoelectric device to recover a part of the thermal energy consumed in turning on LEDs, thereby greatly improving an energy efficiency. Particularly, the present invention uses a temperature difference between the thermal energy generated when LEDs emit lights and an external air during winter seasons having small amount of sunshine to generate electromotive force by a Seebeck effect, and uses the same to charge a secondary battery, thereby reproducing power, which is insufficient by eco-friendly energy, and using the same. In addition, the present invention, for an outdoor road sign board using LEDs, uses the eco-friendly energy as a main power source to operate the outdoor road sign board, and applies LEDs to road sign boards in remote areas or in mountainous areas as well as a general road to operate the same. Therefore, the present invention can improve the reliability and competitiveness in fields such as sign boards, outdoor road sign board, eco-friendly energy, outdoor sign boards using eco-friendly energy, outdoor boards using eco-friendly energy and electronic devices, and fields similar or related to the same. The present invention comprises: a base plate having a power transmission line; and at least one thermal energy converting module comprising LEDs and thermoelectric device.

    본 발명은 친환경 LED 도로교통표지판에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 친환경에너지를 이용하여 LED를 점등하는 도로표지판에 있어, 열전소자를 이용하여 LED점등시 소모되는 열에너지의 일부를 회수함으로써, 에너지 효율을 크게 향상시킬 수 있도록 한 것이다. 특히, 본 발명은 일조량이 적은 겨울철에, LED가 발광하는 과정에서 발생되는 열에너지와 외기와의 온도차를 이용하여, 제벡효과(Seebeck effect)에 의한 기전력을 발생시키고, 이를 이용하여 2차전지를 충전함으로써, 친환경에너지만으로는 부족한 전력을 자체적으로 재생산하여 사용할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명은 LED를 이용하는 옥외용 도로표지판에 있어서, 친환경 에너지를 주전력원으로 하여 옥외용 도로표지판의 운용이 가능하므로, 일반 도로는 물론 오지나 산간 지역의 도로표지판에도 LED를 적용하여 운용할 수 있다. 따라서, 표지판 분야, 옥외 도로표지판 분야 및 친환경 에너지 분야, 친환경 에너지를 이용한 옥외 표지판 분야, 친환경 에너지를 이용한 옥외용 간판 및 전자기기 분야는 물론 이와 유사 내지 연관된 분야에서 신뢰성 및 경쟁력을 향상시킬 수 있다.
