The present invention relates to a traffic accident determining device and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the traffic accident determining device learns a convolution artificial neural network by using multiple traffic accident sound signals from a learning server in advance as well as providing learned setting information such as weight values and bias values to other traffic accident determining devices with the same convolution artificial neural network. The traffic accident determining device initially sets the convolution artificial neural network by using setting information, checks whether sound collected by the traffic accident determining device is sound from a traffic accident by using the convolution artificial neural network when an impact exceeding a threshold value of a vehicle is applied thereto to finally determine whether the vehicle is involved in an occurring traffic accident, and transmits a rescue request to a rescue request server. Accordingly, the traffic accident determining device can determine an accident accurately by checking the impact from the outside primarily and checking the sound from surroundings secondarily. More specifically, the convolution artificial neural network can be installed on the traffic accident determining device as software to enable accurate traffic accident determination at low cost.

    본 발명은 교통사고 판단 장치 및 방법을 공개한다. 본 발명은 사전에 학습 서버에서 복수의 교통사고 음향 신호들을 이용하여 컨벌루션 인공 신경망을 학습하고, 학습된 설정 정보(웨이트 값, 바이어스 값 등)를 동일한 컨벌루션 인공 신경망을 구비하는 교통사고 판단 장치들로 제공한다. 그러면, 교통사고 판단 장치는 설정 정보를 이용하여 컨벌루션 인공 신경망을 초기 설정하고, 차량에 임계값 이상의 충격이 인가되면 컨벌루션 인공 신경망을 이용하여 교통사고 판단 장치에서 수집된 음향이 교통사고 음향인지 여부를 확인함으로써 차량에 교통사고가 발생하였는지 여부를 최종적으로 판단하여 구조 요청을 구조 요청 서버로 전송한다. 이렇게, 본 발명은 1차적으로 외부에서 인가되는 충격과, 2차적으로 주변 음향을 확인함으로써, 정확한 사고 판단이 가능하다. 특히, 본 발명의 컨벌루션 인공 신경망을 소프트웨어적으로 교통사고 판단 장치에 설치가 가능하므로, 적은 비용으로 정확한 교통사고 판단이 가능한 효과가 있다.
