The present invention relates to a method for detecting a target by generating a super-high frequency image by a super-high frequency detector, matching the generated super-high frequency image with loaded digital terrain elevation data, and excluding a clutter component. An apparatus for detecting a target of a super-high frequency image by using digital terrain elevation data comprises: an acquisition unit which acquires a first property value as a height value according to a part of pixels related to an object included in a super-high frequency image; a first determination unit which compares the acquired first property value with a pre-acquired second property value to determine whether there is a clutter in the super-high frequency image; a second determination unit which determines, when there is a clutter in the super-high frequency image, whether there is a clutter within a preset distance from an arbitrary point of the input super-high frequency image; a removal unit which removes, when there is the clutter within the preset distance, the clutter from the input super-high frequency image; and a detection unit which detects a target by using the super-high frequency image from which the clutter is removed.

    본 발명은 초고주파 탐색기로 초고주파 영상을 생성하고, 생성한 초고주파 영상과 장입된 수치 지형 표고 데이터와 정합하여 클러터 성분을 배제하여 표적을 탐지하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
