The present invention relates to a method for producing a polyethylene terephthalate polymer with enhanced wear resistance through introduction of terephthalic acid (TPA) and ethylene glycol (EG) forming existing polyethylene terephthalate bonds in addition to inorganic metal particles. The present invention further relates to a yarn produced by using the polyethylene terephthalate polymer produced by the production method, and a car mat. By producing the yarn and the car mat using the polyethylene terephthalate polymer, it is possible to increase wear resistance of car mats owing to enhanced density of yarns.

    본 발명은 기존 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 결합을 이루는 에틸렌글라이콜(EG, Ethyleneglycol)과 테레프탈산(TPA, Terephthalic acid) 외에 추가로 무기입자(Metal)를 도입하여 내마모성이 개선된 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 중합체의 제조방법과 상기 제조방법으로 제조된 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 중합체를 이용하여 제조된 원사 및 카매트에 관한 것이다. 상기 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 중합체를 이용하여 원사 및 카매트를 제조할 경우, 원사의 밀도가 향상되어 카매트의 내마모성이 향상될 수 있다.
