본 발명은 냉각계의 열관리제어시 전동 워터펌프(7)에 관련된 진단인자(FF)를 이용해 자가진단로직을 실행하고, 진단인자(FF)의 체크결과에 따라 전동 워터펌프(7)를 일시 정지함으로써 전동 워터펌프(7)의 내구성 악화를 가져오는 구동지속시간을 보다 줄일 수 있고, 이로 인한 전동 워터펌프(7)의 내구성강화로 예기치 않은 고장(Fail 또는 Error)을 미리 예방함으로써 냉각계의 신뢰성을 높여 전기자동차의 상품성도 크게 높일 수 있는 특징을 갖는다.
