The present invention relates to a system and method of measuring a liquid level of a fuel tank for a vehicle and, more specifically, relates to a system to measure a liquid level of a fuel tank for a vehicle, comprising: an ultrasonic sensor (100) installed in an inner bottom of a fuel tank for a vehicle, acquiring measurement data to calculate a distance from an inner bottom of the fuel tank to a fuel level; and a central processor (200) calculating liquid level information of the fuel tank by use of the measurement data received from the ultrasonic sensor (100) a predetermined number of times for a predetermined amount of time. As such, the present invention may accurately measure a liquid level of fuel inside a fuel tank for a vehicle using an ultrasonic sensor, and minimizes a measurement error through measurement data of the liquid level received by a number of times of use of the ultrasonic sensor.
본 발명은 차량용 연료탱크의 액위 측정 시스템 및 그 측정 방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 차량용 연료탱크 내부 바닥면에 구비되어, 상기 연료탱크 내부 바닥면에서 연료면까지의 거리를 산출하기 위한 측정 데이터를 획득하는 초음파 센서부(100) 및 상기 초음파 센서부(100)로부터 기설정된 시간동안 기설정된 횟수만큼 전달받은 측정 데이터를 이용하여, 상기 연료탱크의 액위 정보를 연산하는 중앙 처리부(200)를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 연료탱크의 액위 측정 시스템에 관한 것이다.
