The present invention relates to a transmission method and a transmission apparatus in controlling to stop an engine of a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). According to the present invention, the transmission method of controlling to stop an engine of the HEV vehicle comprises: a step of requesting an engine to stop (S100); a step of changing a transmission to a lower level before the engine stops (S200); a step of separating a clutch, and stopping the engine spraying fuel (S300); and a step of controlling torque of a hybrid starter generator (HSG) motor until the engine stops, and charging a battery (S400). Thus, the present invention increases an engine revolutions per minute (RPM) through a transmission change to a lower level when the engine is controlled to stop, thereby increasing an amount of energy recovered by regenerative braking of the HSG motor.
본 발명은 HEV 차량의 엔진정지 제어시 변속방법 및 변속장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 HEV 차량의 엔진정지 제어시 변속방법은 엔진정지 요구단계(S100); 엔진 정지 전 변속단을 하단으로 변속하는 단계(S200); 클러치를 분리하고, 엔진의 연료분사를 중지하는 단계(S300); 및 엔진 정지시까지 HSG 모터의 토크를 제어하여 배터리를 충전하는 단계(S400);를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 엔진 정지 제어시 하단변속을 통해 엔진 RPM을 상승시키므로, HSG 모터의 회생제동에 의해 회수되는 에너지의 양을 증가시킬 수 있다.
